We are Greg S. DeBré and family. We have loved, admired and raised German Shepherd Dogs all of our lives. It just so happens that my initials, GSD, represents the common abbreviation for German Shepherd Dogs. We live in southwestern Oregon where our German Shepherd Dogs and their puppies have ten acres on which they can roam, play and explore. German Shepherds are wonderfully affectionate, loving companions. Here at DeBré Kennels we strive to raise intelligent dogs with outstanding temperaments from world class working dog lines. Our goal is to bring you the very best German Shepherd companions, that are ideal show and working dogs, military, police dogs, search and rescue (SAR), and guardian angels for protection. We are long time members of AKC and support their registry.
Varus Von DeBré is 120 lbs; our gentle giant . He is almost 27" tall at the shoulder, and muscular, very smart and a sweetheart. He is a rich black bi-color. Varus has German, Austrian and Czech bloodlines and comes from a long line of world class champions and continues the Straze lineage. Varus' grandsire, Tom Vom Haus Pixner (call name "Tommy") is one of the best working dogs of Europe, rating exceptionally high scores in obedience, tracking, deep nose tracking and protection. Varus' sire, Bear Von Wright, is well known in the Schutzhund circles. Varus is a champion in his own right as a Search and Rescue dog, saving the lives of many people. He provides a legacy of big-boned, powerfully built dogs with steady nerves, calm and self-assured, natural prey drive, deep tracking instinct, and an excellent disposition.
Misha Von DeBré is 82 lbs of pure joy. She is 21" tall at the shoulder. She is very affectionate, loves to play and is a great guard dog. She is a beautiful black & reddish tan German Shepherd. Misha comes from a long line of show, SAR and police dogs on her dam's side, and has champion working dog and show lines from her sire's side. Misha is alert, inquisitive, and very willing to please along with being athletic and very quick.
Maddox Von Der Westkuste (call name "Carmine"), Misha's sire, is a gorgeous deep red & black German Shepherd. He too has a pedigree stacked with champions in the USA and Germany starting with his sire Zamp Von Der Urbecke who has won many titles in Schutzhund 3 and in the Sieger, as well. He has a sweet disposition, highly affectionate yet very protective.
We share with you our love and admiration for this wonderful breed. We offer German Shepherd puppies for sale that are healthy, vigilant, highly intelligent and very loyal.
Southern Grace Von DeBré weighs about 85 pounds and has a dark blanket with silver highlights around her neck. She comes from a long line "Herders" and tracking dogs. She is very intelligent and is a great watch dog with attributes as a great tracker. She also continues the well known Straze and Policia lines of German Shepherds.
Freya Von DeBré has a long history of Schutzhund 3 champions. She is solid black and weighs about 85 pounds. She is very astute and absolutely fearless. She is a loyal, protection German Shepherd and possibly a Schutzhund champion. Her offspring have been gorgeous dogs with dark coloring, great conformation and outstanding temperament.
Agan Von DeBré is our newest addition, a puppy we kept from our Varus/Grace litter of summer 2019. He is a bi-color GSD that looks and acts just like his sire, Varus. He is learning our commands quickly and is eager to please us. Like the rest of our pack, he comes from a long line of champions with Straze and Policia bloodlines. Agan seems to have his parents' intelligence and ingenuity which is impressive for his young age. We will keep you informed as he grows into adulthood.

“The breeder can indeed lay the foundations of a good and serviceable dog but the trainer must see to it that he brings to their highest possible development, the physical and mental foundations already laid and thus his is the more grateful task.”
